Co-Production Designer

On Miss Canton I took on the role of Co-Production Designer. Research was a significant part of this role as we wanted to ensure we were authentically and accurately portraying the Chinese culture of the family's home. I largely developed my set dressing skills through this, making the set look full and vibrant, while also coordinating with the camera department to ensure the composition of the set worked with the composition of the camera frame. Additionally to the location dressing, I designed and developed the location build, as we put up several flats on the stage for a beauty pageant set, furthering my technical skills in drafting and set construction.
